The NCBA Golf Series' qualifying action will unfold at the Great Rift Valley Lodge, where six golfers will clinch their tickets to the final showdown set for 28 November at the Muthaiga Golf Club.
The six will include the Overall Men Gross Winner, Overall Lady Gross Winner, Division 2 Men & Lady Winner, Division 3 Overall Winner, and Junior Winner.
Meanwhile, the KAGC Series takes centre stage at Kericho with the NCBA Tea Fields Trophy at the Kericho Golf Club, with 67 players set to battle for a share of the Ksh500,000 prize purse from Friday, 3, through to Sunday, 5 October.
In the absence of defending champion Uganda’s Titus Okwang, Kevin Juma, who finished second last year, is among the notable participants for this year's edition alongside Sammy Mulama, Elly Barno, and Isaac Makokha, who finished inside the top five.
Third on the KAGC standings, Elvis Muigua, is also on schedule to play at Kericho and will be aiming to close in the point gap with Michael Karanga, with Ebil Omollo also set for the course.
In addition to the NCBA Golf Series and the KAGC Series, the U.S. Kids Golf Fall Tour will have two events on Sunday. The Mombasa Tour will take place at the Nyali Golf Club, while Thika Sports Club will host the Nairobi Tour.
The events, which are jointly organized by U.S. Kids Golf and the Junior Golf Foundation Kenya, are expected to attract over 200 junior golfers aged between 5 and 18 years, both boys and girls.
"We are in for yet another busy golfing weekend, from the NCBA Golf Series to the KAGC Series, to the two JGF events involving our juniors. This is a testament to what we continue to work towards in our involvement in the sport, ensuring that we grow the game at all levels. This series is a testament to our dedication to the sport and offers a unique platform for golfers to showcase their skills. We are proud to support this dynamic sport that fosters community and skill development across the region," NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora stated.
